Series 1
Summer means food is plentiful, and this year's youngsters must feed, grow and prepare to start life alone. For puffins it's a massive leap of faith as they jump from their cliff-top nests into the ocean, 600 feet below.
With the onset of Spring, the Atlantic comes back to life and hope returns. Temperatures rise, days lengthen and food becomes more plentiful.
Winter brings bitter storms, suffering and conflict. But while most are battling to survive, some are just starting to raise a family.
