Dr Kelso tells JD that, sooner or later, he will start to mistreat his interns, while the Janitor informs JD that his interns only laugh at his jokes to suck up to him.
30:00While planning his birthday fiesta, JD finds a list of things he wanted to accomplish before he turned 30. When he discovers he has done none of them, he enters a triathlon. As she tries to break her boyfriend out of his shell, Elliot discovers a side of her man that freaks her out. Turk tries to impress his bosses.
30:00With their residency over, JD, Turk and Elliot experience big changes at Sacred Heart. JD moves out to live on his own, while Turk and Carla consider family matters. Meanwhile, one of the gang receives a job offer from another hospital.

30:00JD takes Carla out for a drink to persuade her to move back in with Turk, but things don't quite go to plan and they end up sharing a 'friendly' kiss. Meanwhile, Elliot and Dr Kelso struggle to remain professional when faced with a delicate patient issue, and Dr Cox tries to be a cool dad.
30:00When JD and Elliot hear that Carla and Turk are having marital problems, they try their best to cheer them up. Meanwhile, Dr Cox challenges Dr Kelso to lead by example and take on a few patients of his own after Kelso criticises his bedside manner.

30:00JD's efforts to make a good impression on a first date go awry when a random series of events brings him and Kylie to Sacred Heart, where he inadvertently starts a SARS panic, forcing the ward to lock down and trapping them in quarantine.

30:00When one of JD's favourite patients, Harrison Marks, is in dire need of a kidney transplant, JD takes matters into his own hands by finding his long-lost son Murray in the hope that he'll donate a kidney.

Elliot is forced to face her fear of children when she befriends a 10-year-old boy whose father is being treated in the ICU. Dr Kelso shocks everyone when he gets a dose of Christmas spirit.
30:00JD and Dr Cox feel threatened by a patient's daughter, a malpractice lawyer who seems intent on causing trouble, so Elliot attempts to hide Doug, who tends to be the chief cause of medical mishaps. Meanwhile, Turk plays a prank on the Janitor, but doesn't like it when his dupe teams up with a patient for a bit of payback...

Meanwhile, Turk is dragged through court over allegations that he destroyed a patient's tennis serve, following the shoulder surgery he performed on them.
