The Good Life
The Good Life is a TV show on BBC4. Classic sitcom about a middle-class couple who decide to turn their home into a self-sufficient farm, starring Richard Briers, Felicity Kendal, Penelope Keith and Paul Eddington. The program has been available since 2025. A total of 17 episodes have been broadcast, most recently in June 2026.

Margo and Jerry persuade Tom and Barbara to stay in a luxurious flat for the night. How will Margo and Jerry cope with looking after the Goods' animals?

It's embarrassing enough when Tom and Barbara find themselves with fleas. But how can they stop these unwanted guests from catching on with Jerry and Margo?
The Goods decide to experiment with talking to their plants to see if they will grow more. Margo, meanwhile, plans to run for music society president.
After Tom brainstorms an idea for revamping the cultivator into a transport vehicle, the Goods try their hand at becoming a housekeeping service to the Leadbetters to earn cash.
A 400 per cent increase in their livestock population is a source of great joy for the Goods, although their excitement is not shared by the Leadbetters.
After the Leadbetters reach the end of their tether with the Goods' crack-of-dawn activities, Tom and Barbara search for new ways to design their schedule.
